Photography by Mr. Jacob

Thrifted reptile button-up shirt paired with pastel scalloped shorts from H&M worn with my thrifted worker's boots. Paper thin outfit for a scorching weather.

After sitting uncomfortably on a 26-hour plane flight going from Maryland -> LA -> Beijing -> Manila,  I'm finally back in the island where the weather is hot and the sun shines all year long. Although I've lived here in the Philippines when I was little, there's still a lot of adjusting needed. I'll still try to post as much as I can though.

I started tweeting so follow me :)

Love At First Sight

It has all of the things I could ask for,  the buckle, the cross straps and the metallic heel, not to mention the cognac color. When I first saw these, it immediately reminded me of the JC spike sandals. It was almost perfect, all it needed was the spikes. Five hours later after buying them . . .

the sandals of my dreams were created!

    Summer Kick-Off

DIY skull-amethyst bracelet. Dogeared ribbon necklace as bracelet. H&M stud bracelet. Forever21 leaf bangle

H&M altered shirt dress. Marc by Marc Jacobs Lil' Shifty Satchel from Ebay

    H&M Straw hat
    Aldo booties

Photos taken by no one but the best Daryl Jacob

The temperature started to hike up so I decided to wear this super breezy shirt dress from H&M that I bought two summers ago. Cut the sleeves off for better ventilation hehe. I wore denim shorts underneath, as you can see the shirt wasn't quite long enough. Don't you just hate that ?

So far the start of my weekend has been amazing,  hopefully it continues onto next week because I'm suppose to go to Philly/NJ/NY, not exactly sure yet. There's nothing I love more than uncharted adventures!

Enjoy your Memorial day weekend, I know I will ; )
