DIY Pastel Collar Necklace

I bought the plain rhinestone necklace from Forever21, but I think the ones on Ebay have better designs. I simply used the nail polishes that I already have. Plan the colors you want to use ahead of time because removing the nail paint from the necklace is really, really hard to get off.  

Dannijo, along with Tom Binns has inspired me to make my own statement necklace. It took me a long time to finish this. Definitely not because of the preparation, but because picking the right colors that would mesh well together was harder than I thought.

DIY Amethyst Skull Bracelet

What you need:

1. Amethyst Chip Beads (you can get it here)

 2. Skull Beads (better quality here)

3. Elastic Cord

 Gold chain for the tassel

And viola! 

Finally, I found a use for old broken bracelets that had accumulated on my jewelry box. I never throw away broken jewelry pieces so I can salvage it for future use. Like this old chain necklace from my grandma, I cut it into 4 pieces and used it as a tassel. This bracelet is now one of my favorite jewelry, I love how the combination of the skulls and the amethyst beads gives it an edgy look.

Use a clear nail polish to secure the knot on the cord ;) 

Summer Breeze

Ok, it's not summer yet but it sure feels like it. It was so hot, I couldn't even wear my blazer the rest of the day. When it comes to picking what shoes to wear, I'm very indecisive, there's just so many choices! So I ended up wearing the white loafers during the day to go shopping then the black wedges to a movie night. I'm also wearing my DIY necklace for the first time :) It took me long enough to finally finish this collar necklace and I'm so proud of myself!

DIY POlKA STUDDED PANTS

          When I saw this post on Tumblr from Jenny Belvin through True Blue Me and You, I knew I had to try it. I'm so happy with the result! I used one of my old jeans (I call it my Work Jeans) for this DIY because I was scared I was going to mess up and ruin my other ones, plus I think the white dots look better on gray anyway, like what Barbara Martelo was wearing. I wanted smaller dots so instead of using a stencil, I used the puffy fabric paint, giving it more of a two-dimensional studded look. I put more dots on the bottom and less on top like a gradient just for fun. Thank you Jenny for this tutorial, This is one of the easiest and cheapest DIY I've ever done.
